Fellowship Opportunities
Families and Children
These fellowship events are planned during the year for families with children . The events have included an Easter Egg Hunt, a May Day event, participating in the Fourth of July parade, trip to the Berry Patch, a family outing to Stone Mountain Park, and Christmas events.
Continental Breakfast
Breakfast is provided every Sunday morning in the lobby. The church provides coffee and juice and volunteers bring donuts, muffins, bagels, etc. The breakfast is set up by 9:00 a.m. in time for Sunday School. The whole family is encouraged to stop by for a bit to eat and early morning fellowship.
St. Luke's Supper Club
This is a dinner and fellowship event held in homes. Any adult, married or single, is encouraged to sign up. The evening is a great way to get to know others in a small group of 5 to 9 people. Suppper Club "hosts" usually provides the menu and the main course while others bring appetizer, sides, and dessert.
Luncheons and Receptions
Church-wide luncheons are held several times each year in the Great Hall following the worship service. The church will provide chicken and members volunteer to bring side dishes. Other luncheons range from "pot-luck" theme to a hamburger/hot dog cookout! In addition to these luncheons, a special reception is held on Scottish Heritage Sunday in February of each year. All of these events are for the entire family.
Men's Breakfast
The men of the church meet in Fellowship Hall on the second Saturday of each month of the church year at 8:00 a.m. Aside from a fabulous (if not healthy) breakfast, there is always a very interesting speaker or program.
Faith & Film Night - third Friday of @ month, 7 p.m. Dinner & 7:30 Movie
Faith & Film Night is an opportunity for adults of all ages to get together and explore our own faith through the lens of film, and the theological perspective and claims made within todays film culture.
Please RSVP to Josh & Cindy Nunez at cd_nunez@bellsouth.net. If you would like to help with food, give them a call at 770-451-9545. Come join us for great fellowship, food and discussion!
O.W.L.S. (Older, Wiser, Loving Seniors)
The goal of this ministry is to provide social events and educational programs for our senior (55+) members, visitors, and friends. The group provides a daytime social setting for learning, enjoyment, and helping others. Monthly programs are held throughout the year. They vary from lunch and inspirational speakers to day trips to places of special interest, such as Callaway Gardens or the North Georgia mountains. Check the church newsletter and bulletin board regularly for all of our upcoming events. O.W.L.S. also provides opportunities to serve our church and community. The ministry provides a venue for seniors who "can" to serve those who have special needs.
Singles & Doubles
This is an adult fellowship event held several times during the church year. Typical events have included a dinner and play at Stage Door Players, a "Trivia Night" and dinner, a Christmas holiday celebration at someone's home, a St. Patrick's Day Irish social, etc.

FEAST
FEAST strives to build, deepen and strengthen our young people's personal faith relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord of all life. It facilitates the growth of inter-generational relationships that bond the entire congregation into a growing community of faith. FEAST creates an arena where serving and caring for others are intentionally taught and practiced. It includes a meal, conversation, Bible study and special events with family and Church community. Children and youth sit with "table parents," using courtesy and good manners while having fun.
Feast Registration
The three parts of FEAST:
- Bible Study in graded classes provides time for relationships to be informed, refined and renewed. What is learned in Bible study, the heart of the program, is practiced in other segments.
- Family Time includes a meal, conversation and special events. It provides time to celebrate relationships as a family around the table. Children and youth sit with "table parents," using courtesy and good manners while having fun.
- Worship Skills might include choir, handbells, drama or something else that young people can do to lead the people of God in worship. This is time for relationships to be rooted and nourished in worship.
FEAST does not replace the Sunday School or worship experiences. Rather, it enhances overall church participation
