ADULT SUNDAY School

For summer 2011, we have some exciting options for adult Sunday school. Below you will find details on what each existing class will be doing this summer. In addition, during July and August, we will offer a Summer Elective Course, which will get back to basics with the Ten Commandments and then a short course on Christian Care Giving led by our Stephen Ministers. Normal schedule of classes resumes with the Christian Education Kick-Off and Pancake Breakfast on September 11, 2012.

Families in Christ (F.I.N.C.H.): Room 203
Led by Joanna Mangum and Emily Voigt For summer, this class will meet in June and August, but take off the month of July.

This class brings together adults to learn and grow in their own faith and their ability to share that faith with their families. Jason and Kristy Whitener will kick off the Fall 2012 class with a 7-week study of The Busy Family's Guide to Spirituality by David Robinson

The Present Word: Room 145, Parlor

This discussion class is biblically based and follows the Revised Common Lectionary (the order readings often used in our weekly worship). The curriculum enables adults to study the same Scriptures which are frequently used in the worship service.

Kergyma In-depth Bible Study: Room 232
